About the department:
We are the Export Division at Miele and responsible for distributing our household appliances in markets without a local sales subsidiary. Our area of responsibility is as diverse as it is international: from distribution and product range management to customer service and marketing – we cover all essential functions required to successfully position our products outside established markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing relationships with importers in non-subsidiary markets and maintaining accurate customer master data and market‑specific information
- Developing and updating product assortments based on local requirements and technical regulations (e.g., approvals, import rules, compliance specifics)
- Handling order processing for spare parts, appliances, project business and marketing materials, including: Responding to inquiries and preparing quotations; Monitoring payment processes; Coordinating shipment preparation in line with import regulations
- Supporting the implementation of central marketing and service initiatives in the regions
- Contributing proactively to achieving sales and revenue targets, including preparing statistical reports
What We Are Looking For
- You completed a commercial apprenticeship and you have at least two years of relevant professional experience
- Ideally, you have experience in export processes or international order handling
- You communicate confidently in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage
- You collaborate effectively across cultures
- You have strong MS Office skills and solid experience working with SAP
- You are a communicative, resilient team player with a structured and solution‑oriented working style
